Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number.
  • Order details: billing and shipping address, items ordered, order and payment status. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Quote and engineering requests: sizes, materials, quantities, application details, drawings or files you upload, and your messages.
  • Communications: emails and WhatsApp messages you send us.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you reached the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

How we use it

  • To process orders, payments, shipping, customs clearance and returns, and to send order and shipping updates.
  • To answer quote, sample, custom and engineering requests.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To keep the store secure and prevent fraud.
  • To understand how the website is used, improve it, and measure advertising and conversions through the configured analytics and advertising technologies.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we rely on these legal bases: performing a contract with you, or taking steps you ask for before one (orders and quotes); our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving our business (support, fraud prevention, service messages); your consent (non-essential analytics and advertising technologies, where consent is required); and our legal obligations (tax and accounting records).

Who we share it with

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and checkout, and our payment providers, which process payments.
  • Shipping carriers and customs brokers, to deliver your order and, for DDP shipments, to clear customs.
  • Analytics and advertising providers, including Google Analytics and Google Ads, to measure site use and conversions and support advertising through the configured integrations. Google and DoubleClick requests and advertising cookies may be used. See our Cookie Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Quote-form processing: our RFQ form submits to FormSubmit, a third-party form-to-email service, for delivery to support@oxxring.com. Submitted contact details, application and quantity information, messages, and attached drawings or files pass through this service. Review FormSubmit's Privacy Policy before sending sensitive or confidential material. For an alternative way to provide a request or drawing, contact our support email before uploading it.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics and advertising technologies may count as "selling", "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page, and Shopify's privacy controls recognize the Global Privacy Control signal for sale-of-data choices. This recognition does not establish how every third-party advertising integration handles personalization in every region.

International transfers

We are based in Hong Kong, and our service providers may process information in other countries, including Canada, the United States and the European Union. Where required, these transfers rely on safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses used by those providers.

How long we keep it

Order, invoice and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Quote requests, messages and drawings are processed for response and follow-up; retention depends on the support workflow, provider handling and applicable obligations. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of certain U.S. states can also opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. In Hong Kong you may request access to and correction of your personal data. To make a request, email support@oxxring.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we respond within the period the law requires. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use cookies necessary for the store to work, analytics technologies to understand usage, and Google Ads conversion and remarketing technologies. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our website and products are intended for business and adult buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
